ASTERION REACH / PUBLISHED SIMULATION RULES / v1.0.23

Discoveries that remain discoveries.

Global: R$50.00 TT. Hall of Fame: R$500.00 TT. These are actual earned terminal values, not estimates, forced wins, or a lowered celebration threshold.

Elite1,000–2,9991.20%0.060%
Apex3,000+1.50%0.075%

Work rating is creature maximum HP, space-deposit maximum integrity, a claim’s original resource TT, or one recipe’s material TT plus fee. Strongboxes use Standard. Bonuses are exclusive: one roll cannot award both. Ordinary loot can independently exceed a celebration threshold.

Bonus TT ranges: 6,000–12,000 (Global-sized) and 60,000–100,000 (HoF-sized). Hunting and boxes add shrapnel; crafting adds residue; orbital resources add only their own resource family. Existing ground claims keep their saved recovery rolls. New claims use the revised rules.

Energy Matter and orbital resources

Each new asteroid can contain Ironstone, Azurite, Titanium or a mixture. Each gas pocket/stellar flare can contain Energy Condensate, Lumen, Nexus Shards, usable Fusion Fuel, or a mixture. Each selected constituent is sampled uniformly without replacement from these four energy resources. Composition: 35% one resource, 45% two, 20% three. It is rolled privately once on the first paid laser hit and persists through reconnects and restarts. It is revealed when extraction finishes, never rerolled on every pulse.

Ground Energy Matter selects one of the same four resources uniformly after a successful survey: 25% of successful Energy Matter finds are Fusion Fuel. The existing 36% miss rate and 10-ammunition scan cost remain. Gas and stellar deposits include fuel in 46.25% of newly rolled deposits across the published mixture sizes. These are playtest values; previously committed claims and orbital contents are retained. Fuel uses the existing item and tank: move orbital cargo fuel to inventory at a stop, then load the tank at an eligible dock.

Asteroid sizeIntegrityBaseline budget (TT)
Small180100
Medium540300
Large1,4401,000
Massive3,6002,400

Normal resource value varies 70–130% of baseline. A separate 4% rich result multiplies that normal budget by 1.75. Unit rounding can leave a small remainder. Ore stays ore; energy matter stays energy matter. Aurelia UL mining-ship discovery remains 0.1% per completed deposit, separately rolled. Gas and stellar deposits use the first three sizes.

Ordinary hunting shrapnel is now 45–100% of creature HP, before other materials. New ordinary ground claims contain 10–36 units; the existing large/exceptional bands are now 120–299 units (3.95%) and 2,000–4,999 units (0.05%) after a successful find. Channel miss rates and ammo use are unchanged.

Unlimited equipment acquisition · v1.0.20

Trade and station terminals sell Limited equipment only. Existing owned Unlimited items and blueprints remain valid and repairable. New functional UL blueprints are available through a 0.05% manufacturing discovery bucket per attempt; ordinary blueprint discovery is a separate, mutually exclusive 2% bucket. Each bucket selects uniformly among unowned eligible blueprints and grants nothing if that pool is exhausted. Permanent cosmetic clothing recipes remain available as before. Rare creature, mining, and strongbox UL drops retain their existing odds.

Strongboxes · v1.0.19

Each opening consumes one owned strongbox and one Salvage Key. New keys cost R$2.50 at the Trade Terminal. Previously owned keys remain valid, and their R$0.10 terminal salvage value is unchanged. Canceling the confirmation consumes nothing. Every opening gives 100–160 universal ammunition plus this exclusive extra-outcome roll:

Extra outcomeChance per opening
Ammo only48.5%
One timed buff pill30%
One exclusive cosmetic20%
One existing rare UL equipment model1%
One existing rare ring0.45%
One new super-rare ring0.05% total · 0.005% each of ten

Pills last 15 minutes of real elapsed time, including time offline. One active pill per effect; repeat use while active is rejected without consumption. Different effects can run together. Two different rings may be equipped. Combined ring/pill caps are damage 35%, defense 25%, healing 50%, finder depth 75%, extraction speed 80%. Broken rings provide no bonus. Finder depth and extraction speed do not increase rare odds or create extra deposit value.

The separate Standard Global/HoF bonus roll above is unchanged and is additional to these extra-outcome percentages. The Inventory confirmation and the machine-readable discovery rules show the exact item pool.

Simulation only. Probabilities are per completed outcome, not per shot, hour or session. No result is due after a dry streak. Larger deposits take more ammo and time. Reward value is not profit. This is intentionally generous playtest tuning, not an audited cash-out economy. No real-money deposits or withdrawals exist.
